DCC Welcomes New Head Women’s Soccer Coach

Dallas, Tx – The Lady Crusaders soccer team has a new Head Coach. Local high school and club coach Patrick Shamu, of the DFW area, has accepted the position with DCC athletics and is on the recruiting trail looking for new prospects. Coach Shamu comes to Dallas Christian College after a successful playing career that saw stops with Paris Saint Germain, the Dallas Sidekicks, Dallas Burns, New England Revolution, Columbus Crew and the Tampa Bay Mutiny. Bruce Long, the Vice-President for Academic Affairs at Dallas Christian College, is pleased to announce the hiring of Dr. Corey Auen to take up a post as Assistant Professor of Worship Arts and director of the Worship Arts program.  Professor Auen comes to Dallas Christian College from Staunton, Virginia in the heart of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley.  He brings seven years of teaching experience at sister schools Mid-Atlantic Christian University and Cincinnati Christian University and fifteen years of ministry experience working with worship teams in diverse places like Cincinnati, Ohio, Johnson City, Tennessee, and Nellysford, Virginia.  Dr. Auen recently completed...

Jordan Strom Announced as Head Men’s Basketball Coach

DCC is happy to announce that Jordan Strom, of Manhattan KS, has accepted the position of Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Admissions Counselor, beginning in July. Coach Strom, a native of Manhattan, KS, graduated from Manhattan Christian College in 2011 with the Bachelor of Science, in Christian education, and from Kansas State University in Manhattan with the Master of Science, in academic advising, in 2016.
