DCC Campus Closes for a Day, All Serve in South Dallas
On one particular day each semester you will find the DCC campus closed. Is school out? Not even close.
On this day, faculty, staff and students are putting into practice what they teach and preach – responding to Christ’s call for his people to faithful in their service to those in need.
“Service day is a great chance to get to know students that I never have in class, that I don’t spend much time with but get to serve side by side with. “ Said Gary Hardy, Professor of Practical Ministries.
Junior student, Keldrick Brown added: “Jesus said, if you’ve done it for the least of these, you done it for me. The love that we show to these guys is Christ’s love. It’s Jesus love. Its not for building us up, but for the kingdom.”
Thanks to the Dallas Christian College community for making this another successful service day!
